As of Wednesday 4th November 2020, with a heavy heart, I closed my little shop for trading after being there for the last four years. It was such an emotional day with both customers and colleagues wishing us the best for what’s ahead. I’ve loved serving all our customers and being able to encourage them to decorate their own cakes, as well as seeing the happiness on their faces when I deliver their cakes.

Due to the recent easing of lockdown restrictions, The Icing Tip is thrilled to announce that we will be re-opening our doors to the public on Tuesday 16th June! 🧁

Whilst we want you to enjoy your shopping, there are a few things we’d like you to keep in mind:

Easing of restrictions does not mean that Coronavirus has ‘vanished’ - social distancing is still as important as ever. We ask that you are respectful and please keep 2 metres apart from staff & other customers at all times.

We will continue to adhere to strict health, safety and hygiene measures. Please only touch the items you intend to buy - this helps to keep us all safe.

We’re here to assist you with any queries - our friendly and knowledgable staff are more than happy to help, whether you’re looking for advice on how to decorate a lockdown birthday cake or want a fun activity to do with the kids! But please note, we will not be accepting returns on any items sold.

Hi everyone,

We hope you’re all as safe and as well as can be.

You may have noticed that there is a shortage of flour on our supermarket shelves, or that it’s a bit more difficult to get hold of at the moment. In light of this, we have some ready made sponge cakes available for delivery in vanilla, lemon, chocolate or toffee flavour, as well as ready made fruit cakes available for delivery. Prices vary depending on what size or which flavour cake you would like, so please contact us for more information.

All orders are packaged by a lone worker and delivered in a safe and contactless way.

An important update from The Icing Tip-

Unfortunately due to current government advice concerning Covid-19, The Icing Tip will be temporarily closed until further notice. This is to protect you, our lovely customers and to protect our fantastic hard-working staff.

Thank you to everyone for your love, support and custom over the last few weeks. If you are struggling for supplies, please contact us to arrange delivery and we will do our best.

Our home packs are a fantastic way to get hands-on in the kitchen, learn new skills and spend quality time together! ❤️

Each pack varies in price and contains a variety of different items! 🍪 Our cookie packs contain cookie cutters, coloured icing and colourful icing tubes. 🐣 Our Easter packs contain colourful cupcakes cakes and some edible decorations. We even have mermaid and Lego themed packs! 🧜‍♀️
