We’re looking for a hands-on Food Production Shift Manager to lead our bakery production team. In this role, you’ll oversee daily operations on shift, ensuring everything runs smoothly from preparation to baking and packing.

🔹 Lead and support your team to deliver high-quality bakery products
🔹 Ensure food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards are met
🔹 Keep production on track to meet targets and deadlines
🔹 Coordinate workflow and drive efficiency across the shift
🔹 Provide clear direction and support to maintain consistency

Hamper Scamper: We're not quite there... yet!

Over the weekend, lots and lots and lots of you rallied and brought us that bit closer to our 3,000 hamper goal. Thank you.

After a hectic day of volunteers packing, we still need the following TODAY to finish the final hampers:
🫖Hot Drinks: 874
🍫Chocolates: 683
🥨Savoury snacks: 625
🍪Biscuits: 0!!!!!
🎂Cakes / Mince Pies: 481
🧧50 high street gift cards worth £20-£25 to replace the gifts that haven't been brought back.

Yesterday was amazing, with some really big highs for Hamper Scamper. We're on the final, final stretch, so please, please help us dig in. Thank you to:
✅Those of you that donated money. We raised almost £3,000 in 72 hours, which will cover the gifts that we haven't received back
✅ Those of you that have donated food. We filled over 200 hampers yesterday, and will be filling more today thanks to your generosity.
✅ Four Anjels who were incredible and donated over 700 packets of luxury biscuits, meaning we no longer need biscuits for the remaining hampers. WHOOP.

This is the essence of Hamper Scamper - a Community wrapping around some of its its most excluded. Can you help us with the final push?

We are looking for an NPD Technologist.

Key responsibilities include.
Following recipes to make delicious cakes & also creating your own recipes.
Manage inhouse projects, eg HFSS development.
Design and Develop innovative products to meet market trends and customer expectations.
Assist Development Manager with product remakes and recipe testing as required.
Working with suppliers on sourcing new raw materials.
Supporting the Bakery Technologist with factory trials.
Conducting organoleptic on new & existing products.

Team Leader 2pm–10pm shifts. £10.50 per hour

Bakery Operatives 2pm-10pm. £9.50 per hour

Gluten Free Bakery Operative 9am–5pm. £9.50 per hour

Cleaner 6am-2pm. £9.50 per hour
