I got a huge haul of gorgeous Rhubarb from and chopped lots up for inside the scones and made such a delicious rhubarb compote for the shortcake and cheesecake ones. I love rhubarb season!! 😍

Hello to my wonderful amazing customers!! I have had a bad accident happen to me, and it’s going to change up the scone shop hours over the next few weeks, as I try to adjust to being completely bedridden for 6 weeks.

I had just gotten home from the bakery and was out walking in front of my house with my family on that beautiful Easter Sunday we just had, and one little tiny misstep caused me to snap my ankle. We had to call an ambulance and I had to get emergency surgery on my right ankle - Open Reduction internal
Fixation Bimolleolar Unilateras - for anyone who wants to know the technical terms haha. Three steel plates and lots of screws later and now I have a Terminator ankle. You may call me the CHELSENATOR now 🤣

I was in shock still in the video, and not feeling any pain yet. I’ve never experienced that before! What your body does with adrenaline so that you don’t even feel the pain - I couldn’t believe it! I was staring at my ankle, completely hanging in its skin, and felt no pain, and was laughing and chatting with so many kind, incredible neighbours and passersby that stopped to help. You can see when they are loading me onto the stretcher, both of the guys holding the end closest to my feet stumble/wobble on that same little uneven lip of pavement that did this to my ankle!

I can definitely feel alllll the pain now. It’s unlike anything iver ever experienced. I can’t believe my body protected me from feeling that. Incredible!!

So at the moment, we are going to be closed tomorrow - Thursday April 9th. I just have to try and do some training from my home on how to do all the things that only I know how to do/make - which is A LOT. So I’m very sorry that we will be closed tomorrow, but the plan is to be open normal hours 10am-5pm Friday Saturday and Sunday of this week. Please bear with me while I make some really huge adjustments to my life and how to keep the scones going while I’m bedridden!

Happy Easter everyone!!! I made this vid to show you all, some of the yummy flavours I have available for this long weekend. We are open our normal hours of Thursday-Sunday 10am-5pm 🥳. I’ll list the ones I mention in the vid at the end here, and we have another 20-25 more regular flavours always going too! Including Savoury, Gluten-Free, Vegan and Keto 😍. We have a full coffee & tea menu as well, and Bubble Tea, and breakfast Sconewhiches 🤤

DUBAI CHOCOLATE SCONE!! I finally made it and ohhhhh my lanta it’s UNREAL!!!

The most expensive and time consuming scone I’ve ever made 💁🏻‍♀️Toasting the tiny tiny little fluffy Kataifi/Kunafa bits in butter took so long, phewf! Then I made a super yummy pistachio white chocolate paste to encase the crunchy bits, then drizzled it with a rich chocolate ganache and more pistachios. Inside the scone is organic Cocoa powder, pistachios and more buttery toasted Kataifi/Kunafa. This scone is incredibly rich and decadent, just WOW!!! And worth every cent of the $7 it will be priced at!

Aren’t women amazing? I celebrate them everyday in my life of course hehe. But I LOVE me a celebration day, so of course I gotta do something special for it!

So I made a super yummy new flavour in the theme colour PURPLE - Taro Blueberry Cream Cheese - A buttery organic Blueberry scone with a luscious Taro Vanilla Bean Cream Cheese Glaze and purple Sprinkles. EVERY CENT sold out of these scones will be going to the Women’s Transition House Transition Society (like I’m donating my cost of ingredients, labour etc).

🍌🍌 Biscoff Banana Pudding Scone🍌🍌

Hi Sconers!! Happy New Year all!! Just wanted to let you all know we are open today at Sidney Scones with lots of yummy flavours!! 🤤 Including this new one - Biscoff Banana Pudding - oh my gosh it’s so amazing!! I make a buttery scone full of spiced Biscoff cookies as the base, then top it with homemade Banana Biscoff Pudding, and then some condensed milk whipped cream and more Biscoff crumbles. Wow wow wow it’s sooo yummy.
