Today, I‘m doing a Hong Kong-style French toast for my kids. This classic Hong Kong dish absolutely must include peanut butter as the filling, dipped into beaten eggs, deep fried it then topped with a slice of chilled salted butter, and some golden syrup — a perfect match. Don’t substitute with any other kind of syrup!
