I had the opportunity to create this cake, and it was definitely a challenge. Not only were the expectations high, but I also wanted it to look as realistic and adorable as possible. I’m so happy with how it turned out, and it reminds me how far I’ve come and how much further I can go.

And of course, my medal had to make an appearance because it’s . 🏅 This cake lived rent-free in my mind for weeks and even occupied a good portion of my thoughts during my race. 😂🍰

Sometimes the finish line brings a medal, and sometimes it brings cake. I love both!

I absolutely love how this Elmo cake turned out! ❤️ The cake itself looks amazing, and the eyes and nose are actually separate cake pops, because I love cakepops!.

But I was so busy that I didn’t notice until I took the picture that the eyes on that Elmo’s cake pop give him the funniest expression 😂. He looks a little goofy, but in the cutest way possible!
