To everything there is a season... And this sweet shower cake for my sister-in-law is my last cake hurrah for awhile. I've decided not to take any more orders in the near future as we're expecting baby #3 this summer. Thanks for all your support and encouragement these past few years! Will I keep baking? You can bet there will be a few surprises here and there for family. Apart from that, it's hard to say. All I know is that life isn't getting any less crazy, and I feel peaceful about setting down the spatula for awhile.

After a long and much needed break since my daughter's birth, I've committed to several weddings this summer. This bright cake is from the first one. Congrats Javier and Taylor! I just love the summer colors and fresh flowers! I look forward to continuing to readjust as I see how baking goes with two kids in tow these days:)
