When your chef buddy gets ahold of your bread and decides to show off AGAIN!

This time he turned my Northern Tundra Classic into Vanilla Bourbon French Toast with macerated strawberries, pineapple, kiwi, and homemade lemon zest whipped cream.

But THIS was the part that made my little baker heart happy:

He said he “soaked the hell out of it” and the bread STILL didn’t fall apart. It stayed nice and custardy like French toast should.

Alsoooo… vanilla bourbon French toast?! Whaaaaaaaaaaat 🤤

OKAYYYYY I added something new!

My October weekly drops are officially up ANDDDDD ANCHORAGE — I’m coming to you too!
Because I know not everybody wants to make the drive all the way out to Wasilla for some cookies and sourdough, so I’m testing out an Anchorage pickup at Peña Park!

> WASILLA/PALMER: Pickup at Tundra Rose Bakery — no minimum order.

> ANCHORAGE: Pickup at Peña Park — $25 minimum order. I’m driving in from Wasilla specifically for these pickups, so pleaseeee make sure you choose the Anchorage pickup option and arrive during the listed pickup time. Send me a message if you have a question.

And YESSSS — the first October drop is OPEN NOW! Go grab your baked goods before they go.

The next two are already scheduled too, so we’re doing this EVERY WEEK in October leading up to my Halloween market.

Menus will change. Some goodies will come back. Some might disappear.

Okay but LOOK what my friend did with my Frostline White Sourdough

He’s a chef and took one of my sourdough loaves and made THISSSS!!!

Lemon basil aioli, balsamic reduction, tomato, red onion, arugula, provolone, blistered chili jelly AND bacon 🤤

I love seeing what people actually make with my stuff though. Especially when my little sourdough loaf gets turned into something like THIS.

**Blueberry Frost:** Blueberry-cheesecake focaccia loaded with blueberries and streusel, then finished with cream cheese and Fireweed Nectar drizzle.

**Tundra Harvest:** Pumpkin-spice focaccia topped with brown-sugar streusel and finished with vanilla Fireweed Nectar drizzle.
