opened in May 2011, selling hand made baked goods at the 14th and U Farmers market. Founded by Jenna Huntsberger, a food blogger turned professional baker and small business owner, Whisked has become a beloved institution, selling pies and cookies at local farmers markets as well as stores in the DC metropolitan and Philadelphia areas. Whisked has been featured in the Washington Post, Every Day With Rachel Ray, Cosmopolitan Magazine, and was voted “Best Bakery” by the readers of the Washington Post Express. Whisked pies are known as some of the best in the region, winning the 2020 "Best Pie" and "Best Bakery" awards in the Washington City Paper’s “Best of DC” poll.
