Celebrate pride month with a night of local q***r music:
Ammonite
The power trio melds an edgy 90’s/00s grit with the jangle and twang of classic country revival and q***r confessional songwriting that pours out onstage as an authentic and dynamic live show. In the past year Ammonite toured the East Coast and Midwest, played the Cherry Blossom Festival, MidMountain Murder Ballad festival, Takoma Park Folk Festival and contributed a track to Yesterday and Today: D.C. does Dischord, alongside Ted Leo, The Dismemberment Plan, Outerloop, and J Robbins. They have shared the stage with Desert Sharks, Clover Lynn and the Hellfires, Nicole Yun of Eternal Summers, and South For Winter.

Pet Names is a Maryland-based duo that’s folk rock in the studio, and rock folk on the stage. Partners in both music and in life, Camila (guitar) and Maggie (bass) co-write all of their original music. Their sound is rooted in rich vocal harmonies and lively instrumentals, with lyrics that range from thoughtful to tongue-in-cheek. The duo draws inspiration across decades and genres—Washington City Paper wrote that their debut EP, Hey Hi Hello, “effortlessly pair[s] early aughts indie sensibilities with classic rock.”

Jane O’Neill
Midwest-born Jane O'Neill is a DC-based folk americana singer-songwriter and storyteller, with a sound that many describe as both soulful and soothing, and lyrics that are vulnerable and heartfelt, akin to some of her inspirations, Bonnie Raitt, Susan Tedeschi, and Brandi Carlile. Described as “quietly confident Americana” by Washington City Paper, Jane writes songs that reflect her sentimental spirit, telling universal tales of love, self-discovery, and resilience, all nestled within a voice that upon first listen, you’d swear belongs on the record shelf next to the greats.
