This is my FIRST picture of me for Milk Bottle Cookies! Gosh time has flown by!
I’ve started writing this post a hundred times, and every time I stop because I’m not sure how you put eight years of memories, gratitude, growth, tears, laughter, friendships and love into a few paragraphs!
Milk Bottle started in 2018 as a dream. I could have never imagined where that dream would take me, the people it would bring into my life, or how much Milk Bottle would become a part of our family!
And now, after a whole lot of thought and definitely a whole lot of tears, I’ve made the decision to close the doors of Milk Bottle on December 1 ❤️
The reason is actually really simple.
I want to go home.
I want to be home with my babies.
Time is moving way too fast, and my girls are growing up right in front of me. There will always be another idea, another opportunity and another busy season… but I don’t get these years with them back. Right now, being their mom is where my heart is telling me I need to be!
To every single person who has walked through our doors, ordered a box of cookies, told a friend about us, shared a post or made Milk Bottle part of a birthday, wedding, celebration, hard day or just-because day, thank you!!
You took a dream I started in 2018 and turned it into something bigger and more special than I ever could have imagined!
I’ve watched kids grow up, employees graduate and move into new chapters, and customers become friends! There are so many memories inside those walls that I will carry with me forever!!
And please know this isn’t necessarily goodbye
Milk Bottle isn’t gone forever! Maybe we just need to put the mixer on pause for a little while 😊
We still have time together before December 1, and I hope you’ll come see us, eat way too many cookies and help us celebrate what an incredible eight years this has been!!
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for loving Milk Bottle, supporting my dream and giving me memories I will cherish forever!!
