Fresh from the oven and topped with our homemade cream cheese frosting, these cinnamon rolls are everything you need for a sweet little pick-me-up. Soft, gooey, and downright delicious!

🌞 Happy Monday, friends!

First, a huge thank you for an incredible Rhubarb Days weekend! ❤️ Between Rhubarb Days and Father’s Day, it was one of our busiest weekends of the year, and we are so grateful for every customer who stopped by, waited in line, purchased a pie, shared a kind word, or supported our small business in any way.

We still have a limited supply of our Strawberry Rhubarb Cider available, along with our custom Hometown Charm Rhubarb Days T-shirts, now 20% OFF while supplies last!

Good news—we still have some beautiful rhubarb from Knutson Farms, so we’re planning to have a limited number of fresh pies available later this week. 🥧 I’ll post details and quantities on Thursday once I know exactly how many we’ll have.

Happy Father’s Day! 💙

A big Happy Father’s Day to all of the dads, grandpas, stepdads, father figures, and families who spent part of your day with us today. We are so grateful you chose to celebrate with us and create special memories around our tables all the while during Rhubarb Days.

We’d also like to give a special shoutout to all of the fathers on our amazing back-of-house team. Thank you for your hard work, dedication, and for helping make today such a success.

WOW… what a day! ❤️

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported us on the first day of Rhubarb Days. We are incredibly humbled and grateful for each and every one of you.

We sold out of ALL of our pies—and more—in just FOUR hours! 🥧✨ While we’re thrilled by the overwhelming support, we’re also so sorry to those who weren’t able to get a pie this year.

Our team has been working tirelessly washing, cutting, baking, and preparing all things rhubarb, and your support makes every long day worth it. Big heartfelt thanks you to each and every one of my teammates 💜Rhubarb Days is by far our busiest (and admittedly most stressful!) weekend of the year, and I couldn’t be more thankful for this amazing crew that helps make it happen. I didn’t manage to get any pictures but one…

For Sunday, we’ve baked more rhubarb crisp in individual sizes and will have a limited amount of personal-size Strawberry Rhubarb Cobblers available while supplies last. Rhubarb cinnamon rolls, rhubarb mimosas, strawberry rhubarb ciders & rhubarb lemonades our special is rhubarb pancakes.

A reminder that tomorrow is Father’s Day! We’re open from 8am–3pm and our Back Porch will be open with full service. Be sure to stop by and say hello to Brady—he’ll be taking great care of guests out there all day.

It was such a beautiful day in Sumner. By the time we finished, I was so tired I couldn’t even make it out to enjoy Rhubarb Days myself! I hope all of you were able to soak it in and enjoy the festivities.

🥧 PIES, PIES & MORE PIES! 🥧

It’s been all hands on deck around here as we prepare for Rhubarb Days! From washing and cutting pounds upon pounds of fresh rhubarb and strawberries to carefully handcrafting every pie, it’s been some very long (but rewarding!) days as our mighty ovens work overtime.

There’s nothing quite like watching & waiting for that magical moment when each pie reaches the perfect golden color and that beautiful fruit filling starts to bubble. That’s when we know they’re ready! ❤️

We’re heading into our final big bake day for all the rhubarb goodies -scones, coffee cakes, crisps & cobblers

This year, we’re excited to be offering more pies than ever before! While we know they go quickly, we’ve worked hard to increase production so more of you can take home a handcrafted Hometown Charm pie.

We’ve been getting lots of calls about pies for Rhubarb Days, so here’s everything you need to know! ❤️🥧

🌿 Rhubarb Days – Saturday, June 20th

☕ The restaurant opens for dining at our regular time of 8:00 AM.

🥧 Whole pies will be sold from our outdoor pie booth starting at 10:00 AM in front of the café. We’ll be selling until we sell out, so come early for the best selection!

✨ Available pies include:
• Rhubarb Double Crust
• Strawberry Rhubarb Sugar Cookie Crumb

🍓 Plus lots of rhubarb-inspired sweeties including homemade jam, coffee cake, crisp, scones, and more!

Yahoo!!! The pie crusts have been made, rolled & crimped so now on to the first bake day! Still lots more to make so thank goodness the weather will be cooler today. The kitchen gets HOT! Dealing with butter and pie dough with heat do not mix so it’s been challenging. Also, for some reason our big kitchen seems so small during this time of year?! Thankful I have Faith as my baker side kick for the last 3 years! My 3 mighty convection ovens will be put to the test the next 3 days. Lots of 3’s so not sure what that significance is?! I’m running on caffeine at this point! Rhubarb Days 2026 we’re coming for ya!

Many of you know Brady and have experienced firsthand the wonderful care he gives to our customers. He is always willing to lend a hand, greet you with a smile, and help make Hometown Charm Café a welcoming place for everyone.

Behind the scenes, Brady is a huge help to me and plays an important role in keeping things running smoothly. I truly couldn’t do this without him, and I am so grateful for all that he does each and every day.

He is enjoying the beautiful day today, so we wanted to wish him a very Happy Birthday! 🏔️🏕️🥾 🐶 🎣

🌿 T-Minus 6 Days Until Rhubarb Days!
This is one of our favorite times of the year, and we’re so thankful for our friends at Knutson Farms for providing the beautiful rhubarb that goes into so many of our bakery favorites! ❤️
From cinnamon rolls, crisps to scones, muffins, coffee cakes, and our famous rhubarb pies, we’re busy baking and preparing for a fantastic Rhubarb Days celebration.
✨ NEW THIS YEAR! ✨On Saturday, we’ll be extending our dining hours until 5:00 PM! Back porch will be open with a server! So you enjoy a meal with a mimosa or cider!
🕒 Rhubarb Days Hours-
Saturday 8:00am-5:00pm
Sunday 8:00 AM–3:00 PM (Father’s Day)
🥧 Whole Pie Sales-We’ll be selling whole pies outside on our Parklet beginning at 10:00 AM Saturday and continuing until sold out.
This season is exciting, but it’s also a tremendous amount of work behind the scenes. Every pie is handcrafted from scratch, made fresh, and never frozen. We work hard to bake as much as possible, but because everything is made fresh, we do sell out early at times.
Thank you for your patience, your understanding, and most of all, for supporting our small family business. We couldn’t do it without this amazing community. ❤️
