Four Thursdays. Four delicious sourdough flavors.

Here’s what’s coming to the bakery this month:

🌶️ Sept. 3 — Jalapeño & Sharp Cheddar
A little kick + lots of sharp, melty-cheesy flavor.

🌿 Sept. 10 — Goat Cheese & Herbes de Provence
Creamy goat cheese and fragrant herbs for a loaf with major French countryside vibes.

🍒 Sept. 17 — Dried Cherry & Toasted Hazelnut
Sweet-tart cherries + crunchy toasted hazelnuts = September perfection.

🧅 Sept. 24 — French Onion Soup
Savory, cheesy, caramelized-onion goodness inspired by everyone’s favorite cozy soup.

Pre-orders open every Sunday at 9AM for that week’s Thursday pickup!

Two Great Lakes in less than a week.

Our annual stay at Lambs Resort on Lake Superior, followed by a camping trip at Kohler-Andre State Park on Lake Michigan.

I wanted to share a quick reminder of our baking schedule through September.

📅 July 31-August 22: Bakery closed

📅 August 23rd: Pre-ordering opens for August 27, featuring one last iteration of our summer menu

📅 August 27th: Weekly bread pickup returns

📅 September 1: Full menu returns, including weekly specials!

The September preview of weekly specials will be sent with our weekly email on August 28th.

Ovens are finally off. 🫠 Kitchen clocking in at 83 degrees since about four this morning. No central AC in this old house and window units just can't keep up with five hours of bread baking.

Refueling while everything cools down. Broccoli scramble w feta, marinated backyard tomatoes, and a few pieces from an extra pizza shell baked less than 20 minutes ago.

Then onto packaging!

☀️Good morning ☀️

I wanted to share a quick reminder about the rest of the summer here at the bakery.

📅July 30th: Our last Thursday bread pickup until late August. Our bread freezes well, so this would be a great day to stock up!

📅August 27th: We return to weekly bread with one last iteration of our summer menu. Pre-ordering for August opens on 8/23.
