🎀 Grand Opening of the Little Free Bakery! 🎀

Join us tomorrow, Tuesday, June 2, at 4:00 PM as we celebrate the grand opening of our Little Free Bakery with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony!

Thanks to Bob’s Red Mill, we’ll be stocking our Little Free Bakery with individually wrapped treats that are free for anyone in our neighborhood and community to enjoy between our regular bake days. Please take one item per person so everyone has a chance to enjoy a treat.

Our hope is that this little box becomes more than a place to share baked goods. We hope it helps build community, sparks creativity, and encourages neighbors to connect with one another. If you’d like to contribute your own homemade treats in the future, we’d love that too!

Come celebrate with us, see the bakery for the first time, and help us kick off this sweet new community tradition.

🎉 Big news from Juniper Street Baking Co.! 🎉

We were lucky enough to be selected as winners of the Bob’s Red Mill Little Free Bakery contest! Thanks to their generosity, we now have our very own Little Free Bakery right here on Juniper Street.

What does that mean? FREE treats for our community! Between bake days, during recipe testing, and whenever we have extra goodies to share, you’ll find them in our Little Free Bakery for anyone to enjoy. Think of it like a Little Free Library, but with baked goods instead of books.

We’ll have an open/closed sign hanging on the bakery so you’ll know when treats are available. Community bakers are welcome to contribute, too. Just let us know so we can help keep an eye on things and plan accordingly.

Bagel Boy is at it again 🌶️🥯

This week’s FAAFO experiment: habanero bread & butter pickle bagels. Sweet. Tangy. Spicy enough to make you question your life choices halfway through chewing.

Pete says they’re “balanced.”
My tummy says otherwise.

These won’t be hitting a menu anytime soon because they might be too spicy for civilized society. But maybe we’re wrong…

wow! What a great week it has been. Thank you all for showing up for us yet again! We may not have sold those final few treats this weekend, but there’s always next time, and honestly, that just means a few more cookies got to live out their dreams. 🍪✨

It was so wonderful meeting new faces and seeing so many friends and neighbors stop by the Bread Shed. Every visit, every preorder, every kind word means the world to this tiny little bakery operation.

Sunday at Juniper Street Baking Co? Practically a solar eclipse 🌞🥐 We are OPEN today from 7:30-5 with fresh cinnamon rolls and a handful of goodies left from yesterday’s bake, all priced as marked and ready for good homes.

Across the street, our neighbors’ garage sale kicks off again at 10 am and there are still tons of treasures waiting to be discovered. Vintage finds, mystery gadgets, probably at least one thing you didn’t know you needed until today.

Come grab a treat and a treasure before the weekend rides off into the sunset ✨
