Our hearts are heavy today.

Like so many in Sandy, we are grieving alongside our community after yesterday’s tragic events. We were mere minutes away from this horrible event and sheltered in place with our kids and extended family members. The loss of life, especially the loss of a child, is something that touches us all deeply. There are no words that can truly express the sadness felt by so many families, friends, neighbors, first responders, and community members affected by this tragedy.

Sandy is a small town built on connection, kindness, and looking out for one another. During difficult times like these, we are reminded of the importance of supporting each other, extending compassion, and holding our loved ones a little closer.

To everyone impacted by this heartbreaking event, please know that you are in our thoughts. We are sending love, strength, and prayers to all those grieving and to the entire Sandy community as we navigate this loss together.

We’re currently looking for vendors to join our 4th Annual National Strawberry Shortcake Day Celebration on June 14th!

We would especially love to find:
🍓 Fresh strawberry growers
🍓 Produce vendors
🍓 Jam and jelly makers
🍓 Other local food and handmade vendors

This is a fun, family-friendly community event celebrating strawberry season with local vendors, fresh strawberry shortcakes, activities, and more!

We strive to keep a variety of vendors and avoid too many of the same type, so if you’ve been thinking about joining a market, we’d love to hear from you.
