🌼Today’s Cake of the Day!

🌼This is cake is a throwback to my pastry chef days at , it was always so fun when the couples getting married at the resort wanted us to make them a wedding cake.

🌼This textural cake was definitely a fun project. We love getting creative to match the happy couple’s vision!

🎀 Today’s Cake of the day is not a cake but is the cutest cluster of 3 dozen vanilla cupcakes for a sweet birthday party!

🎀 These were so fun to decorate, we hope the birthday girl had a wonderful birthday!

🐛Today’s Cake of the Day! We had small friend turn three over the weekend and his current favorite book is The Very Hungry Caterpillar AND he loves plums 💜

🐛This was a 6 inch cake in our carrot cake flavor with cream cheese frosting.

🐛Our cakes menu is on our website and all of them (with the exception of red velvet) can be made gluten free!

🐛Our order form can be found there as well, make sure you include any and all details, we love making each cake as unique and special as you are 💜

Feliz Día de las Madres a la mejor mamacita del mundo 💛🌻✨

I am so grateful for my mom’s never-ending support, in and out of the bakery. Throughout this whole journey, from watching her make birthday cakes when I was little, to going to big-deal events with her this past year as an integral part of the Mielimón team, she is always showing up so excited and always bringing that extra detail that makes every thing all the more special.

Thank you for all you do, we are here able to experience this beautiful life because of a long line of strong, loving, hard-working and courageous women and how lucky are we to be able to enjoy it together.

Happy Mother’s Day to you and all the mommys out there doing their best, we see you and adore you for it 💛✨

🐨This Saturday May 2nd we will be C L O S E D and at the ‘s Food, Wine & Brew event tomorrow!

🐵We are so excited to be a part of this event and bring our pastries to a very special place that this San Diegan has been visiting since she was a small girl!

🐼We will resume normal business hours on Monday May 4th, which also happens to be our 1 year anniversary!

🦁Stay tuned for some fun items we will have in the shop next week to celebrate and if you’re at the event on Saturday, make sure to stop by our station to grab some treats and say hi!

🌼We are excited to announce that we will be making these fluffy pavlovas for Mother’s Day next week on S A T U R D A Y M A Y 9 T H

🌼Our recommendation is to come into the bakeshop and pre-order one (or a couple) for all the mamacitas in your life.

🌼We will also have our order page up soon on our website, and we will have some extras on that Saturday as well while supplies last.

🌼Our hours will be as usual for our Saturdays, 10am-2pm.

🤍✨Today’s Cake of the Day: a sweetheart’s cake for a fellow OLP grad and her now hubby! These cakes for two are so romantic and intimate to share as a special moment with you and your person on the big day!

🤍✨It has been very special to recieve support from all parts of my life, from fellow OLP sisters, to CIA classmates, and even elementary school teachers. These orders are always so special and I’m so grateful always for the continued support.

This wedding cake was in our Mielimon Signature flavor. The cake sponge is a lemon zest butter cake with fresh raspberries layered between whipped cream cheese frosting.

Today’s cake of the day is a vegan version of our Strawberries in Spring flavor- an orange zest vanilla butter cake with fresh strawberry layers and lavender buttercream.
