On October 1, 2016, my mom and I opened a small, dedicated gluten free and nut free snack shop in Downtown Salem, believing that perhaps other people might need to eat this way, too. Our tiny kitchen was all the way against the back wall, allowing ample room for customer seating. We had worked for nearly a year on flour blends, creating recipes, making notes and controls to test completed products. Our standards were so high that they were unreasonable, at times. We had wonderful family and friends come in and help us paint, lay down floor tiles, build shelves, and put in sinks! We had a soft opening and hoped for the best! We were received by the community with open, loving arms and have not taken a moment of that for granted since that day!
All this to say, THANK YOU! Thank you for your continued support! Thank you for standing by us all these years while we perfected our craft! Thank you for the kind words. Thank you for returning. Thank you to many, many of you for becoming true friends! Thank you for telling others about us! Just THANK YOU!
As a THANK YOU to you guys, we will be having a BIRTHDAY PARTY on Saturday, October 10th, beginning at 10 am. There will be free cake slices, ice cream cake and pizza you can purchase, 10% off everything in the store (cannot be combined with other discounts or used for future orders), a raffle for 10 $25 gift certificates and more! All gluten free, peanut free, and tree-nut free (including coconut)! We love any excuse to have a party and can't think of a better way to kick off another 10 years!!
