I don't normally post politics and I try to keep it off my page but this is getting out of hand. We have totally forgotten what happened on September 11th. Who we were fighting and what this country stands for. If this continues they will take over and kill anyone who is Christian, who won't convert etc. They openly say they are here to take over.
It is my opinion that they all need to go back to where they came from. If they like the way they live so much go back and live it in their own country where it's law.

I might make some people angry but that's okay. That means my page isn't for you. I am a Christian, I believe Jesus came and died for all of us and then rose from the dead. I implore you to do your own research as to what the Muslim religion really is. The first part of the Quran is peaceful the second half is not. If anyone has any questions I'd be happy to answer them. If we don't stop this now our way of life will be gone and everything that everyone has fought for up to this point will have been for nothing.

🥧 Fresh Homemade Fruit Pies Available! 🍓🫐

These pies were made one at a time in small batches, with each fruit filling prepared individually.

I don't simply mix the fruit and filling ingredients together and put them in the crust. The fruit is prepared, the juices are drawn out and cooked down separately to concentrate the flavor and thicken the filling, then added back to the fruit before each pie is assembled.

Each pie is finished with a decorative lattice crust, hand-cut pastry flowers and leaves, an egg wash, and a sprinkle of turbinado sugar before baking.

🍓 Fresh Strawberry Pie — $40 whole
Currently whole and available as a full pie.

🍓🫐 Strawberry Blueberry Pie — $6 per slice
Loaded with strawberries and blueberries and already sliced and ready to enjoy.

🦋 More Than Just Cake: A Spark of Light in the Dark

Behind every cake I make, there is a story. But some stories are heavier than others.

Recently, a family at the church I just started attending experienced the sudden loss of a husband and father, leaving behind a sweet 7-year-old little girl. No one asked me to make a cake. When I heard what had happened, I simply knew I wanted to do something for her.

I asked what she loved, and I was given just three things: blue, purple, and butterflies. 💙💜🦋

So I took those three little details and created something completely her own—swirls of blue and purple, shimmering pearls, tiny flowers, and butterflies.

A cake can't take away her loss. But maybe, for a little while, it can give her something beautiful to smile about and remind her that there are people around her who care.

This cake also represents the beginning of something I've wanted to do through Courageous Cakes for a very long time: using what I do to bring a little joy to people in our community who are walking through exceptionally difficult circumstances.

My heart is especially drawn to children, but sometimes people of any age could use a reminder that someone sees them, cares about them, and thought they deserved something beautiful.

Sometimes cake is more than dessert. Sometimes it's simply a way of saying, “You are seen. You are loved. And someone was thinking about you today.”

This was the first. 💜🦋 It won't be the last.

I was thinking of having a few items available for pick up at my parents shop. If anyone would be interested; what types of things would you like to be there on a regular basis for pick up?
Cookies, cupcakes, brownies, breads, ?

I'll also be making cakes. These will be sold by the slice. Which flavor do I make first death by chocolate, caramel apple pie, banana cream pie or cherry cheesecake? Let me know in the comments.

I'm going to start having mini bento cakes also. I'm just waiting for my packaging to come in.

We did a little give away at my parents shop this last weekend.
When you spent $10 or more you got entered for a mini patriotic cake. This is what was offered to the winner.
We also did a few cupcakes for a local business.
I haven't advertised much as I have been working at my parents shop a lot to help them out while my dad is recovering from back surgery.
If you haven't stopped in to see their shop you should. It's an antique second hand store hidden away right off the south bely hwy.
They make deals on everything in the store. I've been working to make it more shoppable and not everything is priced yet but your welcome to make offers also.
