To everyone who’s been here since the beginning, and to all our new friends joining us — welcome 🤍 We thought it was time to properly introduce ourselves.

Rooftop Macarons started in 2016 under our very own rooftop, baking macarons from home with a dream that felt much bigger than our kitchen. That’s where our name comes from. “Rooftop Macarons” is a reminder of our humble beginnings. That every order, every late night, and every milestone started right at home under our own roof.

From packing orders at our dining table to selling at local pop-ups and markets, every step of this journey has been made possible because of our family, friends, and the incredible customers who believed in us long before we had a storefront.

In 2019, we took a leap of faith and began building our first brick-and-mortar shop. Then COVID changed everything. Our opening was delayed, and like so many small businesses, we had to adapt. During that time, we chose to use what we could do best—bake. We donated macarons to first responders and healthcare workers as a small way of saying thank you to the people who worked tirelessly to care for our community during such an uncertain time.

That experience reminded us that Rooftop Macarons has always been about more than just desserts. It’s about community, kindness, and creating moments that bring people together.

Today, seeing how far we’ve come is something we never take for granted. Whether you’ve supported us since our home bakery days, stopped by one of our pop-ups, visited our café, or just discovered us, thank you. Every like, share, order, recommendation, and kind word has helped us grow.

Our story is still being written, and we’re so grateful you’re here to be part of it.
