We’re honored to be part of Eastside Día de los Mu***os: Celebrating Seasons of Día de los Mu***os in Bellevue! 🌼💀

Together with the City of Bellevue’s Cross-Cultural Center Without Walls program, BelRed Arts, YES, Latino H.E.A.T., Amelia La Catrina, and our community partners, we’re helping bring a series of cultural workshops and a community celebration to the Eastside.

Through these events, we hope to share the beautiful traditions of Día de los Mu***os, create opportunities for learning and connection, and bring people together to honor and remember the loved ones who remain part of our lives.

We are deeply grateful to the City of Bellevue and BelRed Arts for their support and for making these cultural experiences possible. 🤎

🤎 Bringing cultures together through tradition. 🌼💀

We’re honored and grateful to share that Cafecito Mexican Bakery is bringing a series of four workshops and one main Día de los Mu***os community event to Bellevue!

This initiative is made possible through the City of Bellevue Cross-Cultural Center Without Walls 2026 Grant and the BelRed Arts Grant, in collaboration with YES and the youth of Latino H.E.A.T.

Together, we’re creating opportunities for our community to learn about, experience, and celebrate the beautiful traditions of Día de los Mu***os — a meaningful Pre-Hispanic tradition centered on remembering and honoring loved ones who have passed.

Through these workshops and our main event, our goal is to share the meaning behind this tradition, create space for cultural learning, and bring people from different backgrounds together through art, culture, and community. 🧡

We’re incredibly thankful to the City of Bellevue, BelRed Arts, YES, Latino H.E.A.T. , and our beautiful catrinas Amelia and Leslye for helping make this possible and for Crossroads Community Center for opening their doors for these workshops to take place in. We’re grateful for the opportunity to share a tradition that means so much and to create meaningful connections throughout our community.

🏵 Pan de Mu**to, made with intention 🏵
Our Pan de Mu**to is soft, fluffy, buttery, and deeply fragrant — made from a recipe from Mexico and crafted entirely by hand.

We start with real butter and real eggs, hand-zest fresh oranges, and toast and grind our cinnamon in-house. Every loaf is carefully mixed, shaped, and rolled by hand, one at a time.

There are no shortcuts here.

Each Pan de Mu**to takes time, patience, and a lot of hands-on work to create the soft, tender bread and beautiful texture we love. From the floral aroma of orange blossom to the warmth of freshly toasted cinnamon, every detail is intentional.
And that’s what makes it so special. ❤️

This isn’t just pan dulce. It’s a piece of tradition, made with care and meant to be shared with the people we love — especially when we gather to remember those who came before us.

From glazing our guava cream cheese hojaldra to dusting strawberry pastries, rolling Nutella twists in sugar, and baking fresh conchas — every treat is made with love for the communities that welcome us each week.
