Babycakes Bakery is hiring!
We’re looking for a part‑time Front Counter + Prep Assistant to join our small sourdough bakery team!
This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in doing things well, and genuinely cares about people.
What we’re looking for:
• Someone responsible and dependable — shows up on time, follows through, and keeps the bakery running smoothly.
• A self‑starter who takes initiative — sees what needs to be done and jumps in without being asked.
• Strong customer service skills — warm, patient, and able to make every guest feel welcome.
• A team player — works well with others, communicates clearly, and supports the flow of the kitchen.
• Detail‑oriented — keeps things clean, organized, and consistent.
• Willing to learn — we’ll teach you our sourdough process, packaging flow, and daily rhythm.
Daily tasks include: greeting customers, packaging, running the register, dishes, cleaning, restocking, and general kitchen support.
Pay: $9 hr
Hours: 15–20 per week, mostly mornings
Experience: some bakery experience preferred but NOT required — we’ll train the right candidate ❤️
