Got to deliver the Lodge giveaway prize to our winner today, and it honestly made me a little emotional. 🥹

A huge thank you to Lodge Cast Iron for helping me celebrate 2 years of Courtney’s Bakehouse and giving me the opportunity to give something back to the people who have supported this little business along the way.

Two years ago, I was just trying to sell some bread. Now I’m getting to celebrate two years with this community and hand someone a giant box of baking goodies. Life is funny.

So grateful to Lodge for being part of the celebration, and even more grateful for everyone who continues to show up for this Bakehouse. 🤎

Courtneys Bakehouse is going to LA. I repeat: THE BAKERY IS GOING TO LOS ANGELES.

After celebrating 2 years of Courtneys Bakehouse at the Bakehouse Bash on Sunday, I’m packing my bags and heading to Create & Cultivate this weekend.

I applied and was selected as 1 of 20 small businesses for a Small Business ticket.

Two years ago I was just trying to sell some bread on the internet and now I’m taking this little bakery to Los Angeles to network, learn, meet people, and take up space.

What a way to start year three. 🍞💅🏾✨

thank you to everyone who came out today for the Bakehouse Bash 🥹🤎

I didn’t take a single photo today because I was so wrapped up in everything. Which is probably a good thing, honestly. I was too busy talking to people, checking on things, giving hugs, and trying to take it all in.

I’m home now, absolutely exhausted, and have an exam to take because apparently going back to school while running a bakery was a reasonable decision 😂

But seriously, thank you. Two years of Courtneys Bakehouse exists because you guys keep showing up. You buy the bread, come to the events, bring your friends, tell people about me, and make this little Bakehouse world feel like a real thing.

And to all of my vendors: thank you for spending your Sunday with me and bringing your work and your energy to this day. I’m so grateful for every single one of you.

I’m going to go take this exam and then probably stare at a wall for a while. Love you guys 🤎

My mom said, “This needs to be framed.”

And honestly, she’s probably right.

Courtney’s Bakehouse was named Artisan Microbakery of the Year for 2026 by LUXlife Magazine’s Bake & Brew Awards. 🏆

I still can’t quite believe I’m writing that. Two years ago, I was just making bread in my kitchen and hoping people would want to buy it.

I’m so proud of how far this little business has come, and so grateful to everyone who has bought a loaf, shared a post, told a friend, or supported me in any way along the way.

It really means more than I can say.

So yes, Mom. It’s getting framed. 🤎

A little PSA from your neighborhood bread lady: go buy some art from FACE. BY LES ★ SLOW FASHION . ♡

Les is one of the artists joining us at the Bakehouse Bash this Sunday, and if you’ve been eyeing her work, she’s having a very good sale through 9/12:

☆ buy 2, get 1 free
☆ spend $100+, get 50% off
☆ $5 off when you buy 1 item
☆ free print with every purchase

So you can shop her sale now, and then come say hi to her (and me!!!) at the Bakehouse Bash on Sunday.

Honestly, I love having people like Les in my little Bakehouse universe. Come hang out with us. 🫶

Meet Sariah from MOSA piercing co 🖤

I invited her to the Bakehouse birthday party because, apparently, two years of baking calls for bread and body modifications.

She’ll be there with her beautiful jewelry and piercing services, so come say hi, check out her work, and maybe leave with a new piercing. Because why not make a birthday decision you’ll have to explain to your friends later? 👀

Okay, so I’m going to be honest: I found Mihaela’s work recently and immediately had the “WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN???” reaction. 😭

Mihaela of maheyla.ceramics makes the kind of ceramics that make you want to reorganize your entire kitchen just so you can look at them more.

Her work is beautiful, thoughtful, and has that very specific handmade magic that makes you want to actually use the thing AND stare at it on a shelf forever. Basically, exactly my kind of thing.

I’m so excited to have her joining us for Courtney’s Bakehouse’s 2 YEAR BIRTHDAY BASH because discovering talented artists and getting to bring them into the Bakehouse world is one of my favorite parts of doing this.

Come say hi, admire her work, and celebrate two years of this little Bakehouse being a thing. 🤎
