This was such a special treat and a surprise to receive this gorgeous box of Guittard Chocolate Company in honor or Rose Levy Beranbaum and Les Dames d'Escoffier PHL!
I felt like an influencer, lol!
Thanks for letting me and my shop be a part of your special celebration of women chefs.

A little something creepy! Our Halloween “vampire” cake is available in limited quantities for walk-ins every weekend through Halloween! This is a delicious red velvet cake with a special new “cookies and cream” filling and iced with a “midnight” chocolate frosting to give it that deep dark color.
If you’ve loved the black cakes in our window, now’s your chance to have your own! This cake is 6”, serves 10-12 and is $85 all together. If you pre-order one, you might even be able to customize the flavors with a long enough lead time (like 5+ days).
You’ll have to pre-order it the old fashioned way by calling us at 267-900-5453 or you can stop by the shop.

We could not have been happier to be asked to make a cake for Janelle and Zach’s wedding! Many of you will remember Janelle as the warm, charming, and kind woman who worked at our shop helping customers from 2019ish to 2021ish. We love her and are so happy she invited us to celebrate with her! It brings me so much joy to make cakes for the people I love. Congratulations guys!

Ps. Just for you, Zach, I did finally watch Tarzan on Monday!

How are we feeling about this afternoons game?
A little cookie treat could help.

Have you heard? It’s supposed to be rainy, dreary, crummy weather this weekend. Best to stop by today and get treats so you are prepared. Pies, cookies, bars, and cakes should make the rain a little more bearable.

We usually pipe all our flowers and put them to the side before arranging them on the cakes. I really thought I was made too many, but then it turned out I used each and every one!
