🙏✨ Empezamos Junio con una coincidencia muy especial…
Mientras grabábamos contenido para Sugar Dreams Bakery 🍰☕ buscábamos la historia del pionono y descubrimos algo muy curioso: se relaciona el nombre de este delicioso postre con el Papa Pío IX 🇮🇹, líder de la Iglesia Católica entre 1846 y 1878.
Cuenta la historia que este postre fue creado en España en el siglo XIX en honor al Papa Pío, y por cariño o cercanía popular comenzaron a llamarlo “Pío Nono”, dando origen al nombre “pionono”. ✨ (“nono” = abuelo o anciano querido en italiano).
Terminamos el día, regresábamos a casa cansados pero agradecidos por seguir trabajando para nuestros clientes ❤️ y, de pronto, veo en mi auto una estampita religiosa que me habían entregado en una misa.
Al leerla… era del Padre Pío. 🙏
Para quienes no lo conocen, el Padre Pío fue un sacerdote italiano nacido en 1887, reconocido por su profunda fe, sus milagros y por llevar durante muchos años los estigmas en sus manos, razón por la que solía usar guantes para cubrirlas. ✝️
No sé si son coincidencias o simplemente momentos que llegan cuando más los necesitas, pero sentí una fuerza espiritual muy fuerte.
Sentí compañía, paz y ese impulso de seguir adelante aun en medio de las dificultades. 🤍 Digamos que fue una linda coincidencia. Y también un pequeño recordatorio de que nunca estamos solos. 🙏

While creating content for Sugar Dreams Bakery 🍰☕, we were researching the history of the pionono and discovered something fascinating: the name of this delicious dessert is often associated with Pope Pius IX 🇮🇹, who led the Catholic Church from 1846 to 1878.
According to tradition, this dessert was created in Spain during the 19th century in honor of Pope Pius, and people affectionately began calling it “Pío Nono,” which eventually evolved into the name “pionono.” ✨ (“Nono” means grandfather or a beloved elder in Italian.)
At the end of the day, we were heading home tired but grateful for the opportunity to continue serving our customers ❤️ when I noticed a small religious prayer card in my car that had been given to me at a Mass.
When I looked at it... it was of Padre Pio. 🙏
For those who may not know him, Padre Pio was an Italian priest born in 1887, known for his deep faith, miracles, and for carrying the stigmata on his hands for many years, which is why he often wore gloves. ✝️
I don't know if these are simply coincidences or moments that arrive when you need them most, but I felt a very strong spiritual presence.
I felt peace, comfort, and the encouragement to keep moving forward, even through difficult times. 🤍 Let's call it a beautiful coincidence—and a gentle reminder that we are never truly alone. 🙏
