Cherry scones, chamomile glaze, stewed cherry topping 🤍
This summer has been full. A lot of butter, a lot of flour, a lot of sun and a lot of new faces. I’m so grateful for every opportunity to share this experience with you all. Grateful for all of my bakehouse lovers and your choice to fuel this small business. This season has been a bit wild. A different change of pace for me not being the person behind my table at the sayville farmers market. I miss you all SO much.. So we give a full round to my bakehouse queen Amanda for sharing the love across the table that all of you in sayville deserve. While she holds that I am spending my Saturday introducing the bakery experience in Cherry Grove. What a gift it has been to meet so many new faces and spend saturday mornings together over some coffee and pastries. I have found that after an overnight bake, packing the car, setting up in sayville, getting to sayville, then arriving to the ferry. That the ferry ride is exactly what I need. Listening to the waves smack the boat as you feel the sun sparkle on your skin. It is the 30 minute reset a Saturday morning bake fully needs. A moment to soak it all in and remember to slow down just a pinch. Thank you to THE ICE PALACE for the warmest welcome this season. Thank you to Amanda for joining the bakehouse team this summer. Thank you The Sayville Farmers Market for the gorgeous operation that you are. Community is everything. Grateful to be a piece of this puzzle 🤍
As always, love to love to love ya.
