Cute little elementary graduation cake went out yesterday! It was a deep, rich chocolate cake with chocolate ganache and strawberry fillings topped with buttercream. The girl and year were made with fondant and the hat and diploma were purchased by the woman who ordered the cake.
And yes, I'm still wearing the boot and struggling with walking, but I didn't want to cancel on any previously set up orders! Thankfully I was able to give myself plenty of time to rest and ice my foot and I was able to sit for most of the process. I'm taking a much needed rest day today and then I'm headed to see an orthopedic surgeon tomorrow morning and hopefully get some answers and a plan of attack!
