You can totally still be spontaneous (even with the google form) please just give me 20 minutes to get it together- time that accordingly.

September is here but fall weather is definitely not. The flavors this week are a goodbye to “summery” fruity flavors and hello to some new fall favorites! These will be available for pick up on 9/3 and 9/5 from 8AM to 8PM! 

Classic Flavors ($4/each)
- Vanilla
- Confetti
- Chocolate

Specialty Flavors ($4.50/each)
- Strawberry (gluten “friendly”)
- Sprinkle (gluten “friendly” version of confetti)
- Fruity Pebbles
- Key Lime
- Lemon
- Lemon and Blueberry
- Chocolate and Peanut Butter
- S’mores
- Apple Cider “Donut” — NEW —

Still no word from the city about our cart SO we are going to continue to use the google form (linked in bio). You can submit it now or be spontaneous on Thursday/Saturday! Please just give us a time at least 20 minutes from when you hit submit.

Long one ahead y’all!

I am so thankful for everyone’s support right now! Seriously amazing!

I’m also sorry for starting this cart up without fully understanding the ordinances. That’s on me, I totally misunderstood and made assumptions based on what I had seen and I was wrong.

But, given how many local bakers there are that are bringing joy and fun we thought that maybe the ordinance needs to be updated. Shoot more of these carts are popping up every week in Johnson County! Which means this isn’t just about me, it’s about all the carts out there we (my family included) enjoy going to.

So if you wanted to support that you can email [email protected]
And voice how you feel about these “self-serve” carts. Even if you don’t support it, your opinion matters too!

Hey there cake fans!
For those who haven’t seen yet- our treat cart was shut down by the city. Not because of health reasons or anything but because there were home business items outside the home which is against city ordinances. Which, I misunderstood the ordinance so I will 100% take accountability for that. I also understand they are just doing their job but I also think with the number of these “self-serve” carts out that maybe it is time for an amendment to that ordinance.
So, if you have enjoyed popping by for a quick treat and would like to show your support for a change (or want to show you don’t support it because your opinions matter too) please consider sending an email to

So thankful for our this community! Our cart will still be functioning for the time being just in a different way. If you’d like more info on that please shoot me a message!

Guys I just wanna say thank you thank you thank you! Seriously, every time I do the cart, I am blown away by the community support and honestly even more so today.
Even with the quick change and things not going the way we planned YALL SHOWED UP. 

Even though I’m trusted, this song has been in my head on repeat. Because they won’t. They won’t steal the joy of this. I pray it isn’t this way for long but we are going to continue to get creative, spread some joy and push for change! Not just for us but for all the local bakers out there and for all you lovely people who enjoy visiting these carts! 💜

All right, you guys! This is how the cart is gonna work today. Who knows if this is how we’ll do it next time but this is what’s working right now. And if we need to workshop it a little bit we will. We will do order pick ups from 12 to 8 PM. 

so, while we figure this out with the city, everything will be kept inside the house. There is a Google form where you will select how many flavors you want and how many of each and at the bottom please say what time you would like to pick it up.

so at your desired pick up time, we will back up your selected treats and place them between the screen door and the front door so that it still is inside the house. The screen door is unlocked so you can open grab your bag and you’re good to go! 

I know the cart part is really fun! It was really sad to not put it out this morning, but we’re gonna follow all the rules while we try to fight and get those rules changed! You would truly love your support in all of this not just through purchasing treats, but if you have enjoyed your time coming to the cart, we would love to hear about it! Please shoot me a DM with your reviews or if you have anything to say so that we can take that to the city council!

Well y’all sad to make this post for sure but unfortunately the cart will not be out Thursday or Saturday and unsure of when we will be able to be back again.

This has been so fun and has brought us so much joy and I know joy to you guys too!! I am in awe and so thankful for every single person who has come by.

The creative juices are flowing- we will figure this out and plan to fight it too!
So many people love these stands, that maybe it is time for ordinances to change.

In the meantime we aren’t gone! Still here for custom orders and pre-sales (which may be our workaround). Please please go out and support the other ones that are open while you can!
