ream seven years ago has blossomed into a local bakery that allows me to share my creativity, patriotism, and faith with others. At Sugar, Spice, and All Things Iced, everything I make is handcrafted with love, prayer, and purpose. I strive to be a Proverbs 31 woman by reflecting God’s love and grace in all aspects of my life and business. Each custom cake, cupcake, and dessert is more than just a treat—it’s a celebration of life’s blessings and a way to bring joy to your special moments because I truly believe every day gives us something to celebrate. As a proud Marine Corps spouse, I follow my husband wherever the Marines send him, living out the promise in Ruth 1:16: ā€œWhere you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay.ā€ Each new location brings fresh inspiration and opportunities to serve my community through baking. Honoring my family’s deep roots in military service, I am committed to sharing a piece of home and heart with those who sacrifice so much for our freedoms. I pour my heart into every creation—whether it’s a wedding, birthday, or a simple treat to brighten someone’s day. Good desserts have a special way of bringing people together and I am passionate about creating a kinder world for my children and future generations through small acts of love, grace, and sweetness. When I’m not in the kitchen, I’m spending time with my family, volunteering in my community, or finding inspiration through my faith. Sugar, Spice, and All Things Iced is more than a bakery; it’s a reflection of God’s goodness in my life, my gratitude for the sacrifices of everyday heroes, and my way of sharing the talents He has given me to bless others with, one sweet creation at a time. Thank you for supporting my dream and being a part of this journey. Let’s celebrate life’s sweetest moments together!

My kids officially think I belong in a museum. šŸ¦–

The other day I told them I’m older than Google, and the concern on their faces was immediate. My middle child, especially, has been struggling with this information. He keeps asking what I did for fun before the internet and whether everything looked ā€œold-timeyā€ when I was growing up. 🤣

Apparently, in his mind, I spent my childhood wandering around with the dinosaurs and churning my own butter.

The truth is, I had the best childhood. I grew up in the 90s and early 2000s—when bikes were our social media, the streetlights told us when to come home, and if you wanted to talk to your friends, you had to call their house and survive the terrifying experience of speaking to their parents first.

No smartphones. No endless scrolling. Just a lot of adventures, scraped knees, and memories I’ll never trade.

Though judging by my kids’ reaction, you’d think I grew up during the Stone Age. šŸ˜‚

He had good plans šŸ˜…

Sometimes I really wish God gave us some inside info on what to do next. Praying and waiting for answers on where He wants me to go next on this crazy journey called life.

Semper Gumby, right? šŸ˜®ā€šŸ’Ø

It can be chaotic somedays, but if being a military spouse has taught me anything, it’s to always have back up plans and go with the flow.

One of the greatest joys of owning my home bakery is getting to celebrate life’s big and small moments with you. Out of all the places you could choose for your cakes and desserts, you chose me and I don’t take that lightly. I’m so grateful to be a small part of your sweetest memories.

I really won in life when I married this man. 🩷

Today, after church, I was out grabbing lunch with our three kiddos and reminded them that the reason we get to enjoy days like this is because of their dad. He works incredibly hard for our family. As an active duty Marine, his job demands long hours, time away from home, and sacrifices that most people never see. Right now, he’s in the field training before deployment and doing hard things so we don’t have to.

I never want our children to take that for granted. Not out of guilt, but out of gratitude.

He gives his time, his energy, his mind, and his body in service to our family and our country. And somehow, through it all, he remains the kind, steady, and selfless man we get to call ours.

I look at him and think, ā€œI really nailed it.ā€

God knew exactly what He was doing when He gave me him. We are so blessed to be loved by this man, and I will never stop being thankful for the life we’ve built together.

Sometimes God places a calling on your heart that doesn’t make sense on paper.

A home bakery.Writing books. Sharing your testimony. Encouraging others. Pointing people back to Him through the gifts He’s given you.

You may not know how you’ll do it all. You may not see the next step, let alone the entire path. But God has never asked us to have all the answers…He asks us to trust Him.

The same God who called you is the God who will equip you. The same God who opened the door will make a way through it. The same God who planted the dream in your heart will provide what you need for the journey.

I’ve learned that obedience often comes before understanding. Faith means taking the next step even when the whole staircase isn’t visible.

So if God is calling you to something that feels bigger than your abilities, trust Him anyway.

Because He has never failed before, and He isn’t about to start now. šŸ¤

ā€œTrust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.ā€ – Proverbs 3:5-6

So do it šŸ‘šŸ¼

Supporting a small business doesn’t always require opening your wallet.

Every like tells the algorithm, ā€œThis is worth seeing.ā€
Every comment helps more people discover that business.
Every share puts their work in front of a new audience.
Every save tells social media their content matters.
Every recommendation to a friend builds trust that money can’t buy.

You can support a small business by:
šŸ¤ Following their page
šŸ¤ Engaging with their posts
šŸ¤ Sharing their content to your stories
šŸ¤ Tagging friends who would love what they offer
šŸ¤ Leaving a review
šŸ¤ Referring them when someone asks for recommendations
šŸ¤ Praying for them and encouraging them

Behind every small business is a real person taking a risk, chasing a dream, and working countless hours to build something meaningful.

Your support—whether it’s a purchase, a share, a comment, or a kind word—makes more of a difference than you know.

Small businesses don’t grow because of giant marketing budgets. They grow because people like you choose to support them.

There is something sacred about making food for your family with your own hands.

The kneading, the proofing, carefully measuring ingredients, and all of the little details to create something that gathers everybody around the table.

I’m just a Cake Cutie with a side of Sourdough Sweetie and a little Banana Bread Baddie. 🤪

ā€œWhat should people know about youā€¦ā€

Okay fine-

I love Jesus.
I love my family.
I love my country.
Marines are elite. Yes I’m biased.
Your kids need your presence more than your presents.
And you should probably open your Bible before your social media apps.

Now that we’ve covered that, hi. šŸ˜‚

I’m Megan. I’m a Marine wife, mama of three, baker, published author, and owner of Sugar, Spice, and All Things Iced.

Everything I create is rooted in faith, family, and patriotism, and I’m passionate about sharing the beauty of real life, meaningful moments, and building a business with purpose.

To the 4,000 new friends here, welcome. You’re gonna get cakes, coffee, faith, family, patriotism, a little chaos, and probably some unhinged honesty too. šŸ¤
