There are so many quotes from Dolly that really hit home for me, and this is definitely one of them.

Running a small business is such a blessing, but it can also be so easy to get caught up in the constant go, go, go—orders to fill, messages to answer, things to plan, and an ever-growing to-do list.

So this weekend, I’m taking Dolly’s advice. ❤️ I’ll be stepping away for a few days to slow down, spend time with my family and friends, and simply enjoy the life I work so dang hard for.

There will always be another cookie to decorate, another cake to make, and another message to answer. But these days with the people I love? They’re worth making more time for.

Sometimes being still is exactly what our hearts need.
