Her love of food and cooking began at an early age as she grew up in a restaurant environment, always surrounded by exotic aromas, fresh spices being ground, and exquiste dishes and pastries indigenous to South Africa. She started The Seasoned Pot in 2003. Under the watchful eyes of her mother and family, Chef Charmain learnt to blend spices and cook with love and enjoyments letting her heart and hands flow, allowing the fresh, natural and local products guide her dishes. The Seasoned Pot specializes in authentic South African, Indian, Mediterranean, and Malaysian cuisine. We cater for events and occasions of any size. We offer the preparation of organic and natural cuisines right in the comfort of your home with the added courtesy of a personal touch and healthy menu.
