Ingredients
- 4 large flour tortillas (10-inch)
- 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup cooked, crumbled bacon
- ½ cup finely diced red bell pepper
- ¼ cup chopped green onions
- ¼ cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoon ranch seasoning mix
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
1. Make the filling: In a large mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, and black pepper until smooth.
2. Add the mix-ins: Stir in shredded cheddar, crispy bacon, diced bell pepper, and green onions.
3. Spread: Lay each tortilla flat and spread an even layer of the cream cheese mixture over the surface, leaving a small border around the edges.
4. Roll tightly: Starting at one end, roll each tortilla into a firm log.
5. Chill: Wrap each roll tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
6. Slice: Using a sharp knife, cut each roll into approximately ¾-inch-thick pinwheels.
7. Serve: Arrange on a serving platter and enjoy chilled!
Tips for perfect pinwheels
- Use room-temperature cream cheese for easy spreading.
- Pat vegetables dry to prevent soggy tortillas.
- Refrigerate before slicing so the pinwheels hold their shape.
- Make them the night before for an easy party appetizer.
Storage: Keep refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
