Each year as part of our Annual Backpack Drive, we acknowledge teachers that go above and beyond for their students.

Meet Danielle Raimondi. Danielle teaches Reading for K-5th grade at Cherokee Elementary in Ronkonkoma, NY. Many teachers like Danielle buy the supplies needed for their classroom out of their own pocket.

We donated a $200 Amazon gift card to Danielle to help to offset some of those out of pocket costs. Thank you Danielle for all you do for your students, your school, and the community. We appreciate you!

We partnered w/ Bethany LaRocco, Program Director of Family Services at Wheeler Mission, to provide new backpacks, as well as $50 Target gift cards, for every child residing at their facility for homeless women and children.
