Got some samples from to find out which beans I'll be buying for my next order!

I've tried a couple of these before but I'm looking forward to trying them all to see which I like best for what application

Granted, this will take some time as I have a lot of chocolate to make for production here in the next couple of weeks but it's still nice to be forward thinking on what's coming next!

With lots of upcoming changes for the business, getting to some basics like sampling beans is a lovely way to stay focused and not get too overwhelmed by all the tasks to accomplish as I start the comeback tour!!

Introducing a bar I've long wanted to make but now that Pride season is here; it's time!

Here's QC's launch of a Bear Bar!🐻

We're all out here choosing bears but we should also be celebrating our bears, too!!

QC's Bear Bar is the delicious Malted Milk Chocolate with bear-shaped graham crackers throughout! The malty sweetness combines so well with the graham toasty, crunchy qualities!

Starting this weekend at the Minnetrista Farmers Market and available through Pride Month!!

I've gotten so many wonderful comments on this lovely shirt from and since it got such a reception, I figure it's a great time to share that ***ralliance has a dinner and drag show "Serving Mother" on Saturday 5/30!!

Pre-sales close today for the VIP and the Dinner + Show!

MQA has put a lot of thought and care into this show, including all the delicious dinner items, door prizes, creative concessions, and a marvelous performance lineup!!

😍😍😍 FOUR YEARS AGO I POURED OUT THIS FIRST LARGE BATCH OF CHOCOLATE I MADE FROM SCRATCH!!!

Wow... this is special to me and I'm so glad I made the decisions I did to shift to becoming a bean-to-bar chocolate maker alongside being a chocolatier!

I'm excited to show y'all what I'm capable of this year!!

Roasting cocoa beans at home is not the most efficient step of the chocolate-making process and is an area I'd say I have the most room to grow for my learning and development

But this weekend I've knocked out the roasting of all the beans I have in my home kitchen and I will be moving onto the winnowing step later today which has me excited because after that I'll be plotting out what formulas I'll want to make for this week!

I have a lot of chocolate to make for truffles, to be sure, but I also need to make a fresh batch of Up All Night Espresso Bars and some 90% Dark Chocolate Bars and I think I'm going to tinker more with the PBBBQ Bar

I'll probably make a small reserve batch of my Malted Milk Chocolate as well but I have quite a lot sitting in the tempering machine now ready to be molded

And I think I'll make a couple of inclusion bars leading up to Pride Month!

But as with all good destinations, it all starts at the beginning... sheet pan after sheet pan of cocoa beans roasting away and cooling in the small kitchen and making this little house smell like a chocolate factory!

This Friday and Saturday (5/8 & 5/9) is Garden Fair at Minnetrista!!

It's also Mother's Day Weekend and I'm going to offer Brunch Boxes again consisting of two scones and a drinking chocolate kit😋😋😋

I'll have plenty of truffles--including a Garden Box Assortment ‼‼‼-- and chocolate bars and other indulgent baked goods such as our Cinnamon Croissant Buns and Pain Au Chocolat!!

Make sure you visit the Garden Fair and swing by my booth from 4-8 on Friday and 9-3 on Saturday!! And stay tuned to see what will be in the Garden Box Assortment this season!!!🌹🌺🌿🌶🫖🍓
