What began as a hobby of showing admiration for my favorite breweries and people has grown into something I feel can be amazing. I want to share my love of craft beer and the versatility of this most wonderful of ingredients with the world!

Second recipe:
This one is easy. It is more the process and balance of ingredients and you can make it your own...
The secret to my gluten-free crispy rice cereal treats:
I use gluten-free crispy rice cereal from Aldi
For every box of crispy rice cereal, I use a stick and a quarter of real butter, slightly browned and two full bags of gluten-free mini marshmallows. I make sure that I use the marshmallows without blue dye in them... I also toss about a half of a bag of whole mini marshmallows in the cereal

I tried this post earlier and it didn't post...
I promised that I would start posting recipes.
The first one that I am going to post means a lot to a sweet young lady I met through market whose family would order five dozen every week because they reminded her of her grandma's peanut butter cookies.
This recipe will make between 140 and 150 cookies using a 1.5 tablespoon scoop.
Peanut butter whiskey cookies:
2-16 oz. Jars of creamy peanut butter
3 cups softened butter salted...
3 cups dark brown sugar firmly packed
3 cups sugar
(Cream all of the above ingredients)
2 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup peanut butter whiskey
6 large eggs
3 tsp baking soda
3 tsp baking powder
3 tbsp cornstarch
8 cups unbleached flour
Incorporate fully and chill for at least 2 hours but preferably overnight
Roll 1.5 tablespoon scoops into balls and then toss in coarse sugar
Using a fork. Crosshatch the cookies and then bake at 350 for roughly 10 to 12 minutes. Rotating halfway through until they're just starting to turn gently brown around the edges and then remove from the oven

I've been trying to find the words.
The first ones are "thank you" for more than 7 years officially in business.
I've made so many connections with so many people and made some fantastic friends along the way.
I will be pausing Tipsy Turvey's for the foreseeable future. I am maintaining all of my permits and licenses and insurance so that I still have the flexibility if the conditions become such that I can reopen.
The second COVID infection left me with lingering symptoms that have impacted my ability to effectively and efficiently do huge bakes like I have in the past.
That, combined with rapidly increasing food costs and difficulty sourcing ingredients has made it impossible for me to provide the same quality of product affordably.
I will be posting some of the most loved recipes.

I am looking forward to seeing all of my wonderful regulars next Saturday, January 21st at minnetrista from 9:00 a.m. until noon. January tends to be a more health conscious month, so I will probably not be offering fudge unless there are specific requests for it. I will have a slightly reduced menu again because of the tendency for less sugary goodies to be purchased in January in the years past. I will still have at least three varieties of crispy treats, both gluten-free and regular cookies, at least three varieties of pub cake flavors and brownies and at least one cookie bar. Most likely snickerdoodle since I didn't have that last month. Bananas have not looked great recently and it is not the best time of year for them so I will probably not be doing banana breads. I should be able to locate some pumpkin and do pumpkin bread and muffins.
