Hi Rooted Fam❤️It’s no secret that Fulton is struggling right now…
Business after business has closed its doors. We are devastated to see our neighbors at Krumpets and Dandelion Wishes close, and with round 2 of construction starting soon…. We are scared.
We’re doing everything we can to hang on, stay hopeful, and keep showing up for this community we love so much.
However, the truth is that we can’t do it without you. The lack of foot traffic has been a persistent struggle for well over a year now, and honestly, we’ve never fully recovered from the bridge closure last year. This photo reflects what downtown has looked like most days lately…quiet streets, empty sidewalks, vacant parking spots, and storefronts filled with business owners carrying the weight of uncertainty every single day, wondering how much longer they can keep holding on.
If you want to keep seeing the little shops, boutiques, restaurants, and local businesses that make Fulton feel like Fulton, now is the time to shop local. Every purchase, every share, every visit matters more than you realize.
We know it’s easier sometimes to click “add to cart” somewhere else or drive to a bigger town. But choosing local keeps dreams alive, keeps families going, and keeps our downtown from disappearing piece by piece.
We’re still here. We’re still fighting for this town. And we’re asking our community to fight alongside us❤️
