Hey Open Gate family! You might have noticed our roadside signs are missing on Market Days. The North Dakota Department of Transportation kindly let us know that temporary signs aren't allowed in the highway right-of-way due to traffic safety rules, and we want to be 100% compliant and keep our roads safe! 🚦👍
The Challenge: Without those street-side signs, foot traffic has taken a bit of a hit—and our amazing local vendors, bakers, crafters, and farmers miss seeing your smiling faces!
Since we can't put signs on the state right-of-way, we’re putting our thinking caps on, and we’d love your input and ideas! 💡
1️⃣ Private Property Sign Spots: Do you own or manage private property near the market along the main road where we could place a temporary, approved lawn sign on market days? 🪧
2️⃣ Word-of-Mouth & Sharing: Since we can't rely on highway signs, sharing our posts is the #1 way to help! Would you mind hitting that "Share" button or tagging a friend who loves local shopping?
3️⃣ Other Creative Ideas: How do you discover local events? Yard signs in neighborhood yards? Digital flyers? Car magnets? Tell us what works best for you!
Open Gate Farmers Market is 100% free to enter for both shoppers and vendors and open to everyone in the community! Come support your local neighbors, pick up fresh goods, handmade crafts, and tasty treats this Thursday and every other Saturday! 🍞🎨

⏰ When: Thursdays from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Every other Saturday from 9:00AM - 12:00PM
