When I was a little girl, every Sunday morning my dad would go down to my Nanny and Papa’s house and get freshly made homemade biscuits. My Papa Murray started the tradition and then after he passed my sweet Nanny took over. I didn’t realize then how special those biscuits would be one day. That biscuit bowl was my Nanny’s and honestly it’s one of my most cherished treasures. Everytime I get it out, I’m reminded of her and my Papa. They gave me something that no money can ever buy. Anytime I bite into one of those biscuits I’m transported back to a memory, a memory that is forever tied to them. Not only did they give me a memory but they gave me a passion for baking and cooking.
