*We do NOT stock cupcakes in our case.
*Cupcakes must be ordered 5 days in advance!
*Cupcakes can be ordered online at thebakedlab.com whenever you’re feeling it but have to be ordered in 1/2 dozen increments of the same flavor.

We stand firmly with our immigrant neighbors who are essential to the spirit, culture, and strength of Madison. A portion of all sales on May 1 will be donated in support of our immigrant communities.

We don’t do ordinary around here.

We use brown butter in so many of our pastries, so turning it into a syrup felt like a natural extension of what we love: taking a familiar ingredient and pushing it further.

Even something as simple as latte syrup gets the full Baked Lab treatment—made in-house, from scratch, with intention. One of our favorites? Brown butter syrup.

It starts with butter, slowly cooked until it turns nutty, rich, and deeply aromatic. That flavor becomes the foundation for something bigger—layered, complex, and just a little unexpected.

Because the magic is in the details.
Because depth of flavor matters.
Because “good” can always be better.
