We bake small batches of handcrafted, naturally leavened hearth loaves and focaccia. Please visit our website for an updated list of locations.

ORIGIN Breads is a Madison, Wisconsin based bakery that is dedicated to baking handcrafted and long-fermented sourdough baked goods using 100% regionally grown and stone milled organic grains. ORIGIN Breads combines Wisconsin grown and stone-milled organic grains with wild yeasts and long fermentation times to make loaves with maximum flavor and nutrition. Our bread can be purchased at markets, co-ops and farmers markets around Madison.

Tuesdays are for retail (until 3pm) and the Eastside Farmers Market (4-7pm at McPike Park). There are only three Tuesday markets left this season so come see us.

Wednesdays are for pizzas. We’ll be serving from 5-8pm. Check the link in bio to view this week’s market specials. Ean will make some delicious dessert for the pastry case and our friends Giant Jones Brewing will be serving up the finest beverages in town.

Join us and Giant Jones Brewing for our weekly gathering of good food and better people. Giant Jones opens at 4pm and pizza service starts at 5pm.

Beat the rain forecast for this weekend and come stock up on baked goods today. We have our full range of breads, bagels, focaccia, granola and a selection of pastries. We’re open until 3pm on Fridays.

For Saturday we are still planning on being at the Dane County Farmers' Market but if it is storming early we may delay our set up time. The bakery will be open from 8am-1pm with pastries and breads.

Rain or not, all of your local producers and farmers still have goods to sell so please get out and support them as you can. We appreciate you all.
