The Winter Wonderland festivities continue at LAFH! ☃️ 🎅🏽 We had a wonderful morning with our participant families yesterday delivering gifts, decorating cupcakes and cookies, doing holiday crafts, and taking photos with Santa!

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to our amazing partners: Jacques Slade, Shoes That Fit, Big Sugar Bakeshop, DOUGH BABY, Blaze Pizza, Experiential Supply Co. and UNIFY Financial Credit Union, for bringing food, fun, gifts, and cheer to people transitioning out of homelessness this holiday season. And a VERY special thank you to Andrew Whitworth and the Los Angeles Rams for making this incredible event possible. Your support made such a big difference for so many families this year! ❤️

As you can see in these photos, cupcake decorating was a huge hit among the kids living in our bridge housing sites. 🤩 Thank you for sweetening the holidays for our program participants and for ALL your incredible support!

LAFH went for Home Together on Thursday night, a virtual event that raised awareness and funds for LAFH's work to build more affordable homes and support Angelenos on their journey out of homelessness.

"The event — produced by Tawny Harrison, creative technology agency PXL and creative production agency Core Creative Labs which designed a digital stage — was broadcast via a custom website as well as on Facebook and YouTube. Entertainment came via musical performances from Darius Rucker, Boney James, Ledisi, and The Linda Lindas. As part of the event, "Home Together" provided guests with the opportunity to enhance home viewing by ordering meals from restaurant partners including Angelini Osteria, Big Sugar Bakeshop, Dulan's On Crenshaw, GASOLINA cafe, Golden Rice Co., Hotville Chicken & Chops-LA, Maker Wine Company, Nick + Stef's Steakhouse, Oui cheese, Petrossian Restaurant & Boutique West Hollywood, Redbird, and Socalo." - Chris Gardner

In honor of Volunteer Appreciation Month, the LAFH Community Engagement team sent small tokens of our appreciation to 100 of our dedicated volunteers! Thank you to the thousands of volunteers over the past 10 years who have given over 130,000 volunteer hours. Your time has deepened and expanded LAFH’s services in extraordinary ways!
