WE SAID WE WOULDN'T DO IT.

We fought it. We resisted it. We swore we'd never become "that bakery."

Then my niece Madaline looked at her uncle and said...
"Unk, can you make me a Dot Cake?"

And just like that... 24 years of pastry training went right out the window. 😂

So here it is.
The Sweet 220 Dot Cake.

Made with love. Made from scratch. Made because sometimes a little girl asks her uncle for a cake and the answer is simply YES.

One week of appreciation just doesn't seem like enough.

As another school year comes to a close, we want to take a moment to recognize all of the incredible teachers, administrators, secretaries, aides, counselors, and school staff who pour so much of themselves into our children every single day.

Most mornings we're already here early, baking, decorating, and getting ready for the day. It got me wondering if we should start opening earlier during the summer.
