A behind the scenes look at how our infamous chocolate babka is made here at Bread Obsession.
It’s such a labor of love and so much work goes into making each babka and these are just the last two steps.
You can special order our babkas in both chocolate and raspberry by giving us a call directly and giving us 48 hours notice.

Today, September 20th we are among 100 other vendors at the here on Boston’s greenway near the intersection of Atlantic Ave & Milk St. we are here from 11am-5pm (rain or shine) and cannot wait to see you all!
We brought SO many breads and pastries today include some of our rare and lesser seen selections (almond croissant, Parker house rolls, cranberry walnut rolls, etc.)

We fully support our neighbor Fitness Together Lexington in their efforts to help and support Catie's Closet as they run a clothing and toiletries drive from September 14th-30th to help give students in need the confidence to show up to school standing taller, smiling brighter, and walking with pride because they have quality clothing to wear to school.

Please consider bringing and donating toiletries, new and/or gently used clothing for children in the K-12 age range to the drop-off box at the location in our building next to the Fitness Together doors. #

We believe in helping kids and we believe education is so incredibly important. Please help if you’re able to.

We no longer use an egg wash on our pastries!
Our croissants, chocolate croissants, ham&cheese croissants, windmills are all egg free!
We heard you, we listened, and we wanted to accommodate those with allergies etc.
Also, if you want to ensure we have what you want when you get here, definitely feel free to give us a call so we can hold something for you. We can also make you some of our specialty items such as: Belgium chocolate chunk cookies, ciabatta, almond croissants, anadama sandwich loaf, white sandwich loaf, lemon curd stuffed lemon glazed muffins if you call and ask for them 24-48 hours in advance (depending).

We are open Tuesday-Friday 8am-6pm, Saturday 8am-5pm, and you can find us at the following farmer’s markets through October: Tuesday: Lexington & Newton, Wednesday: Brighton & Malden, Thursday: Medford, and Saturday at Waltham.
