Hello, I made you gluten-free peach cobbler! This is a cake-style cobbler like I grew up with, and the method for it I have just learned is sometimes called "butter swim." It's Leo season aka MY season aka holy heck we're hitting the ground running in August. This week is RESTAURANT WEEK for Nourish Knoxville. Restaurants, coffee shops, and bars all across Knoxville are offering featured menu items that highlight local ingredients. A percentage of the sales goes right back to Nourish! I love being part of this week -- even though we don't have a storefront for you to come to right now, you can still buy our Street Corn Galettes (ft Huff Farm) at all of our markets this week (which, PS, couldn't happen without Nourish!). I made these itty bitty versions for the kickoff event tonight!

FIRST FRIDAY: Popping up at husmus studio | coffee + home goods - we've missed you, Parkridge! We will have Key Lime Pie Slices and are excited to share the space with featured artist Rebekah Tweed!

ST CUGINO'S DAY: Another celebration of local produce hosted by cugino_fratello at The Mill & Mine! We will have peach shortcake with peaches from Mountain Meadows Farm. This is a ticketed fundraiser event (please note that our option is the only gluten-free item this year - we are so excited to participate but just wanted to be upfront about that so there's no confusion!).

NEXT WEEK: it's my birthday week so I'll probably do some celebratory special item shenanigans, keep an eye out!

OTHER NEWS: Coming back from vacation and I'm seeing a lot of special order requests. I will follow up individually ASAP but I am likely not going to be able to take many (if any) special requests this month as we are pretty heavily scheduled 💗 thanks for understanding!

Gluten-free gals and pals, we are BACK! Welcome August with us at the Maryville Makers Market's Bluegrass & Beignets Fest! We'll be on Maryville College Campus tomorrow (Saturday) from 5 pm to 9 pm or sellout. This will be our ONLY event tomorrow -- come see us!

We are on a break! August schedule:

August 1: Maryville Makers Market Maryville College, 5 to 9 pm (no morning markets for us that day)

August 3: Nourish Knoxville restaurant week kicks off! For our regular market schedule that week, we'll donate a portion of the proceeds from our Street Corn Galettes back to Nourish

August 7: First Friday husmus studio | coffee + home goods with artist Rebekah Tweed! We'll have the key lime slices & Sarah will have key lime americolas for an end-of-summer vibe

August 9: St Cugino's Day cugino_fratello more details to come!

August 14: my birthday. We aren't doing anything for it I don't think, but, you know, just be real nice to me this month and stuff!

We'll also be back to our regular market schedule starting Wednesday, August 5:

ATTENTION! It's too hot/stormy for markets! So we're doing one last pre-order pickup at our shop before our summer vacation. I'm psyched about this because this means we can do LOTS of stuff it's too hot for at market, like these mini banana brulee pies! We'll also have key lime slices, carrot cake, pimento cheese + tomato galettes, and more, but you MUST pre-order. You have two chances to see us this week before we take a break for the rest of July! We're in Market Square (tomorrow) Wednesday from 10 to 1, and on Saturday we're doing...something! I'm keeping an eye on the weather - we will either do markets or host a pre-order pickup, so stay tuned.

Our next event after this week will be the Maryville Makers' Market "Bluegrass and Beignets" Summer Eve on August 1, so come by this week and load up on your gluten-free treats 💗 (ps this is an old photo and not necessarily the menu for the week!)

We are at Nourish Knoxville’s Farmers Markets Saturday from 9 to 1! The weather looks like it should be clear in patches, but, we're finding that on days when the forecast is iffy, it works best for us to focus our efforts on ONE location, so we won't be in Maryville this week, just Knoxville.

Menu vibes: cinnamon rolls (LOTS!), blueberry scones, lemon loaf, focaccia, blackberry hand pies, and choc chip cookies.

PS: y'all are used to me posting menu updates here for every single pop-up and market. But, I really need to step away from using social media so much. I have a lot of fun taking photos and sharing our creativity, but this season of rough business times has been not great for my mental health. And, at this point...do y'all need to know the menu? You know it's gonna be good regardless 😉

Maybe this is cruel but...these aren't on tomorrow's menu lol. They're our pre-orders from today! Got so deliriously hot photographing these peach-raspberry pie slices, then couldn't see my phone screen it was so bright, and could not possibly venture outside again to get more photos of other things, sorry!! Let this be a lesson to you, though, to always do the pre-order. Also, including an indoor shot of key lime and Atlantic Beach pies, because ribbons of whipped cream and blankets of air conditioning are all I really want to think about right now.

But as we say, come rain or heat wave, the market show goes on, and we DO have a cute lineup. Nourish Knoxville’s Farmers Markets 9 to 1 and Maryville Farmers Market 8:30 to 11:30.
