Today we held our end of the year staff appreciation luncheon! Our 256 staff members were treated to Salt + Smoke brisket, chicken, Mac and cheese, pit beans, claw, watermelon, homemade brownies, Crumbl cookies, soda and sparkling water.

Each and every staff member received a $35 gift card.

Big thanks to Marie Romano, Allyson Musca and Michelle Gegg for chairing staff appreciation and to Eric Quigley, Laura Glaser, Juanita Heigham and Alicia Spiegel for helping set up and clean up this huge feast.

And thanks to all who contributed to Pioneer Challenge last fall and our venmo drive this spring!

Finals start Monday morning!

Your student will take their 1st period final on Monday from 7:45am-9:45am. They will go to the rest of their classes on Monday, just shorter versions of them.

Please remember to not call your student out during a final as it is disruptive to the rest of the class.

It’s finally here, JUNK FOOD DAY!

For the final day of staff appreciation week, PPO loaded our 250 teachers and staff up with all the best things they would not necessarily buy for themselves—Twinkies, Cheetos, Takis, Reese’s, Nerds Gummy Clusters, Twizzlers and so so so much more!

🌞Rise and shine🌞, its staff appreciation grab and go breakfast time!

Today we treated our fabulous staff to muffins, yogurt, bananas, granola bars, protein bars, meat sticks and more.

100% Chiropractic provided delicious gooey butter cakes and cookies to complete the feast.

How do we appreciate our staff? LETTUCE count the ways!

Today was salad bar day for our 250 fabulous KHS staff members. They were treated to a super spread with chicken, cheeses, peppers, broccoli, bacon bits, beans, seeds, croutons, artichokes, olives and so much more. This was all made possible by your generosity last fall during our Pioneer Challenge.

Sodas and sparkling water were donated by Laura Hamper, Jill Krussel, Jamie Backowski, Steph Byrne, Chrissie Reinbold, Stephanie McAvin, Colleen Lemcke, Michelle Heilman, Michael Mancini, Amy Kell, Tara Wilkinson, Anne Van Horn, Julie Geeting, Deanna Zajicek, Kathleen Wessels.

It may have been a rainy Tuesday, but for our 250 KHS staff, it was SUNDAE! 🍨

A huge thank you to Andy’s Frozen Custard Kirkwood for donating custard cups and to Monica McArthus, Kary Mangers, Katy Witwer, Melissa Lankheit, Jennifer Rappaport, Molly Dubberke, Kathleen Wessels, Katie Fabbro, Rachel Abbott, Becca Flach, Stacey Sellberg and Brandy Maibes for donating sundae toppings. PPO also provided allergen friendly treats so all staff could safely celebrate Staff Appreciation Week and we included pup cups (dog-friendly ice cream) for our service dogs!
