Britt firmly believes that just because you’re gluten-free it doesn’t mean you don’t deserve good cake. So, she makes really, really good cake.
Britt was diagnosed with gluten intolerance in 2009. After briefly mourning her beloved gluten, she resolved to continue to find joy in baking and create delicious gluten-free baked goods.
Cupcakes make Britt unreasonably happy, so she thought it was time for her to start spreading the love. Britt’s Bakehouse creates choice baked goods, made lovingly in small batches in an entirely gluten-free environment. Using the best ingredients to create the finest textures, flavors, and appearance, she elevates gluten-free baking into a joyful experience.

Starting the weekend off right with cupcakes from Britt's Bakehouse: A Gluten-Free Bakery Thank you, Britt, for creating such delicious treats!!

On Saturday we had the privilege of photographing a beautiful Art Deco inspired wedding! Everything was perfect, down to the last detail. Natasha crafted beautiful signs, brought her own vintage chairs for her head table, and even wore jewelry and a gown reminiscent of the roaring 20’s!
And to host their big day they found the perfect venue; a historic bank complete with an old vault, a cigar room, and gorgeous architecture!
Natasha got ready in a beautiful room that overlooked the reception space, while Patrick added the finishing touches to his vows. After they were both ready they shared a first look outside of the vault, but instead of doing it the conventional way where the groom turns around to see the bride, they both walked around the corner to see each other for the first time that day. The looks on their faces were priceless, and after taking it all in they decided to spend a few minutes alone to share the vows they wrote. 🥺
Before their sweet ceremony began we got to explore the venue, taking beautiful portraits in front of the stair case, the vault, and even in the cigar room!
Afterwords there was a short cocktail hour then it was finally time to party! The cigar room filled to the brim, the dance floor was poppin, and in the vault guests were taking selfies and Polaroids to document the night! Everywhere you looked there were guests enjoying this amazing, and unique night!
Mr. and Mrs. Doherty, thank you so much for allowing us to spend such an important day with you! It was truly a day unlike any other, and the perfect way to celebrate your unique love story. We hope you have the best time celebrating in Jamaica, congratulations again, we love you both!! ❤️

I’m so happy to have found your bakery. I live a few hours away and ordered from you last weekend. I ordered the dairy free/gluten free vanilla cupcakes and chocolate icing. Also had some of the pumpkin donuts and they are amazing. My friend also grabbed me a mini chocolate bundt cake it was great also. So far I haven’t tasted anything I don’t love there. Thanks for what you do!!
