Recognized as one of the top pastry chefs in America, Nathaniel Reid has opened Nathaniel Reid Bakery, offering fresh baked goods and desserts made daily from scratch. The locally owned and operated bakery also offers a full-service coffee bar, corporate gifting, and breakfast and lunch platters available for group dining to-go. Nathaniel Reid Bakery is located at 11243 Manchester Road in Kirkwood

, Missouri, and is open daily Mondays through Saturdays from 8 a.m. Nathaniel Reid Bakery serves fresh-made breakfast pastries, croissants, Danishes, cookies brownies, jams, jellies and savory lunch items including salads, sandwiches and quiches. Dessert offerings include fresh-baked cakes, tarts, French macaroons and chocolate bars. Reid, who has held pastry chef positions for many luxury brands including, The Ritz-Carlton Hotel and St. Regis Hotel, is proud to open his own bakery in the Kirkwood community.

“It’s an honor to establish roots and begin to grow my business in the area, and I am excited to share unique products and my love for baking with the community,” said Reid. “In the busy, thriving community of Kirkwood, my goal is to become a go-to location for businesses and families as well as a convenient option for a quick cup of coffee, croissant or lunch.”

In 2012, Dessert Professional Magazine recognized Reid as one of the Top 10 Pastry Chefs in America. Pastry Competition and named Pastry Chef of the Year, and in 2009, Reid was awarded the “Golden Scoop Award” for the best chocolate confection in America. A graduate of the Le Cordon Bleu, Paris with a Grand Diploma in Culinary and Pastry Arts, Reid specializes in contemporary bakery creations with a European flair.
