After having my son in 2013, I found myself looking for any excuse to throw him a party... Any reason to get our friends and family together and create a little magic and whimsy we would all remember forever. Eventually I developed a real love and passion for event planning. What I love most are the looks on everyone faces, especially the kids, while they are enjoying the moments I've staged for them that I hope they will remember forever. So I decided to take that passion and turn it into a business! Imagine THAT Event Designs specializes in children's parties, baby showers and holiday parties. We offer everything from full service event planning for the busiest families to details consultations for the those who just need a nudge in the right direction. We love doing everything from large themed parties, to small in home get togethers. We are also working on offering a "Party-in-a-Box" package that will contain everything you need to throw a great event including custom decor, set up instructions and layout samples. We strive to work within any budget, and would love the opportunity to work with you to create an event that will be the talk of your friends and family for years to come!

From concept to celebration. 🥂✨

When LOVELUVV ® Sparkling Wines invited us to design their activation for the Atlanta Fashion & Polo Classic, the goal was bigger than creating a beautiful booth. We wanted guests to step into a space that felt unmistakably LOVELUVV—romantic, polished, celebratory and ready for connection.

From the custom-branded bars and layered peony florals to the elevated tabletop details and “Prosecco Made Me Do It” photo moment, every element was designed to bring the brand’s sparkling personality to life.

From the Imagine That archives: Tiana’s Palace. ✨

For Ava’s fourth birthday, I didn’t want to create simply another princess party. I wanted her to walk into a world that felt as though Tiana’s restaurant had been created especially for her.

We designed the experience from the story outward: an architectural palace façade, a garden overlooking the bayou, emerald dining tables, royal purple seating, gold details, custom menus featuring Ava’s portrait, warm beignets, themed sweets and a character experience that unfolded inside the world—not beside it.

But the most important part was never one backdrop, table or detail.

It was watching Ava recognize that this world belonged to her—and then step inside the story and dance with Tiana.

A familiar theme, made personal. That is always where the magic lives.

Originally created in 2023, and still one of my favorite immersive transformations.

What happens when Bikini Bottom turns sixteen? We turn the lights down. 🪼✨

For Bikini Bottom After Dark, I wanted to take a familiar theme and create a world that felt right for a Sweet 16—with gaming, music, and plenty of details to discover.

The reef was my starting point: layers of black balloons, sculpted green seaweed, iridescent bubbles, and light woven throughout. I wanted it to be the room’s wow moment and set the underwater atmosphere.

Then came the experience: a gaming tournament, a lounge between rounds, and DJ Baby Drea bringing the music.

And The Vault? A nod to the Krabby Patty vault, filled with Plankton’s Secret Formula candy bottles, Bikini Bottom Sugar Cookies, and Sweet Victory Dessert Shooters.

This is one of my favorite parts of event design—finding ways to make the theme feel personal, from the biggest installation to the smallest treat.

Her husband asked for a Harry Potter birthday. One question made it personal:

“What Hogwarts house is she?”

Hufflepuff.

That answer gave the celebration its story—not simply its color palette.

We imagined Jessica as a beloved alumna coming home. A personalized welcome sign, vintage luggage, and footprints led the way. Inside, the Common Room was waiting—with her own Daily Prophet feature, sealed letters, Owl Post, Herbology details, and little discoveries woven throughout the space.

The story continued at Three Broomsticks, with potions, House Points, and a place to gather.

I didn’t want it to feel like a collection of Harry Potter decorations. I wanted the world she loved to feel like it knew her.

That’s the part of immersive design I love most: finding where someone’s own story belongs inside the experience. Adult celebrations deserve that sense of wonder, too.

What if the party didn’t just have a theme… but a plot?

For Zuri’s first birthday, Wonderland began before guests ever reached the party.

The White Rabbit met them at the door.
The staircase became the rabbit hole.
And room by room, the story kept unfolding.

A whimsical garden. A VIP circus lounge. Oversized florals with personalities of their own. Characters, scenery and little discoveries designed to make guests curious about what was waiting around the next corner.

Because immersive event design isn’t about putting themed decorations in a room.

It’s about giving people a world to step into.

That’s the kind of work I love most—taking the people, the story and the feeling behind a celebration and building an experience around them.

The look changes. The attention to detail doesn’t.

Hi, I’m Kennay—the imagination behind Imagine THAT.

I don’t believe every celebration should look alike. I believe it should feel like the person it’s for.

Sometimes that means taking guests down the rabbit hole. Sometimes it means turning a birthday into a soccer-tournament experience, bringing a favorite decade back to life, or telling someone’s story through the details of a milestone celebration.

I love the big reveal. But I’m just as invested in everything that makes it work—the arrival, the personal touches, the way guests participate, and the moments they take home.

That same thinking is behind Imagine THAT OS, where I create websites, branding, client portals, and business systems for creative and owner-led businesses. A different canvas, with the same attention to people, design, and experience.
