Happy Holidays!
Ube (Oo-beh) or Purple Yam is mostly used for desserts in the Philippines. The flavor is nutty, earthy and slightly sweet. Most cooks or bakers are taking these flavors we knew as treats growing up and putting our take on it. Ube holds a dear place in the heart of filipinos around the world, you can never have enough ube. π€£
Here are some of my ube creations with our homemade ube jam.

How bout adding Ube Brownie Mochi bars to your holiday cookie box? It's chewy, slightly sweet, and has earthy flavor from our homemade ube halaya. Also, I'm finalizing my pre-order menu for Christmas and hopefully I can post it tomorrow.
Season eatings! I came up with this seasonal item five days ago and just added some m&m milk chocolate during the jolliest time of the year! These cuties will only be available for this month unless you ask for more. Lol.
Blessings to you and your family on Thanksgiving!
Windowpane test is very important in the kneading process. You will know if your dough is still weak or if the gluten is strong enough. In this picture, I'm testing the dough for our Malunggay Pandesal.
My first harvest of our calamansi was only five last July and so happy with my second harvest! We even bought a greenhouse that must be fixed for the calamansi and other tropical plants and hoping that they will survive this winter season with me π
I have something to tell you guys. The OG Ensaymada have a sister and her name is Gouda. We will bring some of these on our next pop-up this Sunday, 11.06.22 from 12nn - 4pm at together with

I have been tweaking these Rocky Road Cookies that came up in my head the last couple of weeks ago so I could come up with an extraordinary one! It's loaded with almonds, chunks of dark and semi sweet chocolate chips and stuffed with mallows too!! Did I just say that this is a 3oz cookie? βοΈ
One of my fave ice cream flavors when I was a kid.
I remember most bakeries back home opens at 4:30 in the morning and serve freshly baked breads, others use bicycle with "potpot" to sell warm pandesal. Emong's Malunggay Pandesal in Bocaue will always be on top of my list. I told myself if I will make pandesal it will be almost like that. The size that can fit maling or spam, soft and chewy. It will be available next weekend! Message or email us if you want to pre-order.
Filipino Pan De Coco is a soft bread roll that has a sweetened coconut filling. Most of the people during our last event were looking or requesting for these buns. This is very addicting!
