This Saturday (July 11) we’re at The Abbey at Blackadder Indoor Farmers Market with our new mini-loaves of Banana Bread!

We’ll also have full loaves, Almond Croissant Cookies (they sell out fast!), and a limited amount of Peppermint Crunch Chocolate Chip Cookies. See you Saturday!

We took our banana bread, almond croissant cookies, and peppermint crunch cookies, including gluten-free versions, to a networking event last night. They were a big success (as evidenced by the empty plates), and so many people said it was the best banana bread they'd ever tasted or the most unique cookie flavors they've ever tasted. Love the feedback and how many people shared their own baking tips and favorites!

I especially love the fact that most people couldn't tell the difference between our regular versions and our gluten-free versions. They taste exactly the same, which I think is such a big win for people who are gluten-free. We work extra hard to make sure our gluten-free versions taste just as good as our regular versions of our baked goods.

We delivered some Black and White Cookies today. The challenge with these cookies is getting the icing right and the cookies must be completely cooled before any icing happens.

We don’t often do custom orders, but this request for Black and White Cookies was for someone’s mom at Passover. We’ll probably make these again when we’re testing new recipes and products for inclusion on our menu.

As good as “almond croissant cookies” sounds, maybe we should rename these to “Will you marry me cookies” since they were so good, they inspired a marriage proposal! (tongue-in-cheek - she was already married but we love the enthusiasm!) But… should we start a cookie-based dating app?

One person melted our heart when she said, “I feel like I’m back in Paris” when she tried one. The city of love with the cookie of love? That’s a great combo and testimony that the right cookie can transport you anywhere!
