The cleanup is definitely my least favorite part about the home microbakery process, by far. 👎 Thankfully I love the rest of my little system though. Who says you can’t cottage bake out of a dinky townhouse with just a regular oven and fridge?! 🙌

The road to 100 loaves sold is sooo close! A few more orders this week and we’ll hit it. The customer who orders this milestone loaf will win a locally-made beeswax bread bag plus a free future loaf from me. AND I’ll unlock my new sweet loaf that I can’t wait to share with you! Who will be the first Breadwinner?! 🍞

On Tuesday nights after pre-orders close, I do the math on growing my strong sourdough starter (her name is Sunny ☀️) into a levain (enough sourdough to make this week’s batch). And I may also mix up the cookie dough. Both my loaves and my cookies processes take days to hit that ✨ flavor and consistency 🤌
