Experimenting with Irish bread. Made some ginger, treacle and golden syrup mini loaves. I added crystallized ginger as well. Wow. With some Kerry gold butter. Superb. Next, I made some mini Irish brown bread loaves. Can't wait to try them.

Tried out an Irish recipe for a Treacle and Ginger loaf. Not bad but mild flavors. Will be elevating it to unlock its full flavor potential.

Good morning all. I haven't been baking too much recently, cause life is crazy busy. But I do try to make weekly treats for my parents. I was craving some sourdough bread so made dad his 7 seed sandwich loaf and made a honey oatmeal loaf for myself. Damn I make good bread. 😁 The other bakery items for this week are Blueberry/lemon scones and Cranberry/raisin muffins.

New cookie and it has rapidly become a favorite. Oatmeal cookie with chocolate and white chocolate chips with vanilla pudding mix. No raisins in sight. Sounds weird but is crazy good.

Question for anyone who has bought and eaten some of my bread. I have a customer who is wanting some loaves to serve at Thanksgiving. Problem is, I would have to bake them on Sunday. That would make them 4 days old before they would be cut into and eaten. Has anyone held onto a loaf that long before cutting into it and if you did, how was it?
